A while ago, one of my favourite blogs, Junkaholique blogged about her little girls birthday & one of the gifts she had made for her – A Kitchen in a box. I loved the idea as soon as I saw it, and thought about how I could make something similar for India this Christmas. We already have a wooden toy kitchen, so that idea was out of the question but I knowing that India absolutely loves playing teachers (normally in my kitchen where I get shouted at for standing on the children!!), i thought a teacher kit would work. So, over the past few weeks I’ve been collecting ideas about what to put in our ‘A Classroom in a box’ and this week, I’m going to start putting it all together – I can’t wait!
So far, it’s looking a bit like this…
1. A Box 2. A Note Book for taking the register 3. Pencils 4. Reward Stickers 5. Washi Tape 6. Mini Wooden Milk Bottles (to give to her pupils at snack time!) 7. Mini Paint Set 8. Paint Brushes 9. Chalkboard 10. A cup, for a good old cup of tea!
1,2,4 – Paperchase
3,5,6,8 – Hedgehog
7, 9 – Amazon
10 – Shannon
such a neat idea! love those little milk bottles too. Remember when we used to get milk at school ey? x

I really want to do a version of this for Coco – not sure I’m going to manage to pull it out of the bag (box)… it’s only the 1st Dec and I’m already getting in a panic!
